I have a serious soft spot in my heart for small, intimate weddings, which a lot of you who follow my blog know. My husband and I had an intimate wedding ourselves, and there were sooo many similarities between our wedding and Meghan and Jim’s. It really made my heart happy to be a part of their big day!
We started the day getting ready at the Texas White House Bed and Breakfast in Fort Worth. It’s a wonderful historic home that has been preserved and turned into the most delightful B&B! Meghan and Jim had their first look on the porch, and Jim’s reaction was PRICELESS! His face lit up with such joy, it’s hard not to smile when you see his face!
These two were married overlooking a koi pond in the beautiful Japanese Gardens in Fort Worth Botanical Gardens. The japanese maples, the bamboo, the koi swimming and jumping—it truly is just one of the most magical places in the DFW!
The day was finished up with dinner and yard games back at the bed and breakfast: blowing bubbles, playing badmitton, throwing frisbees, it was the PERFECT day to spend a warm Saturday in March! Meghan had a reception dress that was to die for, so of course we got some sunsetty photos to finish up the day.
Thanks again, Meghan and Jim for being such awesome people and choosing me to be a part of such an awesome, awesome day! I truly had a great time!
