Megan is an amazing friend. I met her only about a year or so ago, when she looked to me for photography advice, but luckily we’ve grown into friends. She’s just an awesome woman, a fantastic mother, and freakin’ gorgeous.
And pregnancy is so good to her. I’m saying that with a little bit of that passive-aggressive “Ugh. Why can’t she get all crazy fat like I was when I was pregnant?” tone. She’s that type of pregnant where, if I saw her on a movie or on a television show, I’d say “FAKE. Fake bump! No one looks that well-balanced when pregnant!” But, there she is. Beautiful bump and all.
Big brother Brooks joines us for part of the shoot and had a bit of fun with some rock throwing and mud squishing. Dad is serving in Afghanistan right now, which brings a whole other form of respect for both Megan and her husband into the mix. My heart always holds a special place for military wives as they are a lot, lot stronger than I will ever be. Fist bumps to you, Megan.
