Remember Laura and Lyle? Maybe from their sweet vineyard engagements at Blue Ostrich Winery, or from Laura’s beautiful bridal portraits with her cathedral veil? Well, regardless, this awesome wedding was one for the books!
I really am in love with the fact that Laura and her girls did all of their getting ready at The Shady Lady Bed & Breakfast here in Gainesville! It’s a sweet little place that I hold near in my heart as one of the first historic locations I fell in love with once I made the big move to Texas. It was such a great place for all of the ladies to sit and sip champagne while getting their makeup and hair done!
And let’s not even talk about the transformation of the Lindsay Centenial Hall! The beautiful blush and peach uplighting was such a perfect match for the flowers… but holy moly I loved that candlelit wedding party table and cake backdrop! LOVED it.
During sunset, we were lucky enough to have a rain free evening (SURPRISINGLY), and we gathered up as many balloons as we could handle for some fun balloon bride and groom pictures outdoors. Don’t miss it!
One thing that I really appreciated was something that Laura said before we even had her dress on. She was telling someone that she normally felt extremely uncomfortable taking pictures, and expected to feel the same when it came to her bridals, engagements, and wedding… but that when it was me behind the camera, she felt totally at ease and comfortable. Laura, that is one of the BEST compliments I can receive! EVEREVEREVER. 🙂 Thank you!
Congratulations again, Laura and Lyle! Thanks for the wonderful times and your friendship. 🙂
