This was our last wedding of 2015, and man, oh man… I was so thankful to finish off our wedding season with Lacy and Jon. Let me tell you why (as if you were actually thinking I wasn’t going to write about it, right?):
I have two favorite parts of a wedding: when we schedule a “first look,” the moment my couple see each other for the very first time; and seconds after the ceremony, after the bride and groom have walked down the aisle and have a brief moment alone to look at each other and take in what happened. With Lacy and Jon, during both of these moments, they embraced each other. They grabbed a hold of one another and hugged each other tight. Smiling, laughing tears were shed, and they just embraced and stayed in that moment. To me, it’s like magic. To see something like that? It’s just absolute, total magic. And I can only hope that I can translate 1% of that magic to you guys.
These two were married at the Chapel of Ana Villa in Colleyville, which has a rustic, Italian feel, an amazing chapel, and a huuuge reception with a grand staircase. At each of the tables, you could see little pumpkins and a color scheme of purples and golds. The dance floor was HUGE and was a perfect setting for this awesome crowd and the crazy dance party that ensued all. night. long. I LOVE a good dance party!
Congrats again, Lacy and Jon!
