I am so, so lucky to be part of a community of people who are just so welcoming, so hospitable, so full of joy! It’s like everyone who comes into the community is treated as if they are part of the family. Kalyn and Cody are NO exception to this either!

From the moment that I met Kalyn, we hit it off! She’s so caring, so kind, and just so much fun. She was a bridesmaid in another wedding that I shot locally, and during the reception she noticed I was holding myself in a manner that told her physical therapist brain that I was having some pain. You know what she did? She demanded I follow her into an empty room, and then she worked on my back in her formal bridesmaids dress! Who does that!? Kalyn, that’s who!

And Cody? Um, I love this guy. He’s a big ‘ole teddy bear who just is a huge pleasure to be around. I LOVE any guy who’s willing to show their love for their wife openly, it makes my heart so happy. And MAN can these two DANCE! It’s crazy watching them on the dancefloor!

I’m trying not to be long-winded, but I have to also mention the special moment that was the first look between Kalyn and her dad! It was just so special, because the moment he saw her, he came SPRINTING up the stairs to hug her. I LOVED that moment because he just couldn’t contain his excitement in seeing his daughter for the first time in her wedding dress!

Thank you, Kalyn and Cody, for allowing me to be such a big part of your day! I cherish the friendship that we’ve made in the process and am so excited to watch your love story grow over the years!
