All right guys, I know I shouldn’t jump to the end, but OH MY GOD THERE ARE SOME AMAZING SHOTS AT THE END OF THIS BLOG–okay, there. I was trying to hold it in like Kristen Wiig’s Sue character from SNL (for reference). Phew. Okay. Now we can go on with the rest of the blog post.
Jocelyn and Tyler were married at Bass Hall, specifically the Van Cliburn Recital Hall for the ceremony and McDavid Studio for their reception. I’ve had one other wedding here before, so I was so, so excited to come back! Their ceremony had some amazing lighting, with pale greens and some awesome lighting designs to fill up the massive walls in the recital hall, I was absolutely in love with it. You don’t realize how much you can do with just LIGHT alone until it’s done so beautifully!
My favorite parts (I mean, besides the above exclamation of love for the last few shots), involved Jocelyn and her little girl. She played such a big role in this day, and it was just amazing to see the way mother and daughter looked at each other. I absolutely love, love, love when children play such a big part in their parent’s big day!
Thank you again, Jocelyn and Tyler, for allowing me to be a part of your big day!
