Texas Tech wedding or Aggie wedding? That is the question… Despite the playful dueling over teams that happened before and during this wedding, these two are two of the most loving, awesome couples I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know. I met them I think two years before their wedding, right after Brandon proposed to Jennifer in a hot air balloon (WHAT?! Um, guys, pay attention here…) They were just beginning the planning process and didn’t even have a date set. Wouldn’t you know that about a year later, I get an email from Jenn saying they’ve decided on their date and LET’S DO THIS. I was just blown away that they would remember lil’ ole’ me after a year of life had come and gone!
But that’s not why I love these two. I mean, I LIKE them because of that, but I LOVE them because of the fact that every once in a while I’ll get a couple that makes me FEEL love. The type of couple you see smile at each other, really, truly smile at each other with their faces, eyes, and hearts, and it makes you want to go home and give your own significant other a big, deep hug. I’ve already wrote them a long, honest love letter letting them know how much I appreciate their relationship and attitude toward marriage and life.
Pay close attention to their faces during the ceremony. Once I got to this part, I may have just started crying from seeing such pure, unadulterated joy. They just can’t stop smiling at each other!
