Ashlie and Chris were married on a Thursday. But not just ANY Thursday! It was 10/11/12! How cool is that anniversary?!
This girl was probably the most down-to-earth brides in the universe. During her bridals, she hopped a gate in her wedding dress and heels. I mean, I liked her before, but at that point, I thought, “MAN. This is my kinda girl!!”
This wedding was UH-MA-ZING. Yellow and gray color scheme with lots of rustic flair throughout including touches of burlap and some lovely lemons here and there. Believe it or not, it was held at the beautiful, beautiful home of Chris’ parents in Fort Worth. It didn’t hurt that the landscaping and decor was to die for. There was everything that day: a photo booth, pinwheels, a floral arch, a live band, yummy BBQ, a Dippin’ Dots bar (as Kristina said, “IS THIS REAL LIFE?!”), a classic getaway car, sparklers, and of course, a stunning, nearly ten minute fireworks display.
These two have since moved up to North Dakota and have MUCH different weather than that beautiful October night here in Texas (hellllooooo SNOW!). I hope they are staying all snuggled up and warm and enjoying this new chapter in life!
Thanks to Kristina for, as always, doing such a fantastic job second shooting!
