I know I always talk about how much I love my couples, but guys… I really, really love my couples. These two, Amy and Russell, are basically the bee’s knees and the type of people that I not only want to HANG OUT with, but also want to photograph a million times over because they are just. so. much. fun.
Amy has been in my life for quite a few years now because we bonded over just straight out geekdom and also our shared trait of social awkwardness combined with an outgoing personality (listen, it’s an awesome combination to have). So take Amy and her awesomeness, Russell and his awesomeness, and their awesome families, and guess what we ended up with? EPICNESS.
These lovebirds were married at The Springs in Aubrey, specifically The Lodge, which features the most beautiful outdoor ceremony area! I was absolutely PRIVILEGED to work with Each and Every Detail again, but also just stunned by the amazing floral arrangements, food, makeup, the DJ… I mean, this was an AMAZING team of vendors.
I didn’t want to make this too long, but I wanted to share one of the most beautiful parts of the wedding, which was officiated by the couple’s close friend:
“The world is so exquisite with so much love and moral depth. We should remain grateful every day for the brief but magnificent opportunity that life provides. The sum of all our evolution, our thinking and our accomplishments is love. A marriage makes two fractional lives a whole. It gives to two questioning natures a renewed reason for living. It brings a new gladness to the sunshine, a new fragrance to the flowers, a new beauty to the earth, and a new mystery to life.”
Thank you, Amy and Russell (and company!) for letting me be a part of your day. I am so, so honored to have been a part and just love y’all’s quirkiness and personalities.
