Okay guys, serious question time: WHAT IS UP WITH THESE AMAZING RECEPTIONS THAT I’VE BEEN SEEING?! I’m amazed at the fun being had at these weddings!! To the point that it’s almost PAINFUL for me not to put down my camera and just join in on this whole “awesome dance party” thing that’s been going on at EVERY WEDDING I’m photographing lately! Granted, a lot of it has to do with the DJ (Thanks, Jim Weiz! We love you!!) but MAN. I am loving all of these guests just having SO much fun at these weddings. It’s a celebration! And dangit, these people are all here to celebrate!!
So some special things I really have to mention with this blog: Amanda and Josh were married at the United Methodist Church in Gainesville, Amanda’s church she grew up in. But even more amazingly, is the fact that Amanda is the THIRD generation of her family to get married in this church! That is crazy special, y’all! Another fun fact from this wedding is that (if my memory serves me correctly) there were guests from over EIGHT different states attending the wedding. A lot who flew in from the east coast who got an AWESOME taste at the fun that us Texans have to offer at a wedding.
Now, as for the decor, I basically was head over heels for the fall theme: sunflowers, white pumpkins, burgandy and green. YUM. I love a fall color palette! And Amanda and Josh made it super fun for the guests by using Texas Lotto scratch off tickets as part of their favors and seating chart! Really, what a fun idea!!
Congratulations again to you, Amanda and Josh! I hope you guys are enjoying your new puppy addition to your family! 🙂
